These terms and conditions apply when you, as a customer, purchase services (such as yoga classes, courses, workshops, and training) from Priyayoga AB via our website. By completing a purchase, you accept these terms.

2. Services and Booking

Priyayoga AB offers yoga classes, workshops, courses, and training both on-site and online. A booking is binding once payment is completed or when you receive a booking confirmation via email.

3. Prices and Payment

  • Prices: All prices are stated in Swedish Kronor (SEK) including VAT (6% on fitness/yoga, 25% on certain other services/products).

  • Payment System: We use Stripe as our payment provider. You can pay using the card types supported by Stripe (e.g., VISA, Mastercard, American Express).

  • Security: No card details are stored by Priyayoga AB; all payment information is handled with encryption by Stripe for your security.

4. Right of Withdrawal and Cancellation

  • Services: According to the Distance Contracts Act, consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase.

  • Exceptions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to events occurring on a specific date or during a specific time period (e.g., specific workshops or timed courses), provided this was clarified at the time of booking.

  • Cancellation Policy: Specific cancellation rules for courses and training are stated in the respective product descriptions. In case of illness, a medical certificate may be required for a refund of course fees.

5. Personal Data and Communication

We value your privacy and handle your personal data in accordance with the GDPR.

  • Purpose: We collect names, emails, and phone numbers to deliver the service and communicate regarding your booking.

  • Newsletter: By becoming a customer, you may receive our newsletter. We use Mailchimp to send these. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of each email.

6. Liability and Health Status

All participation in Priyayoga AB’s activities is at your own risk. As a customer, you are responsible for consulting a doctor if necessary and informing the instructor of any injuries or pregnancy before the class begins. Priyayoga AB is not responsible for loss of personal belongings or injuries resulting from the practice.

7. Force Majeure

Priyayoga AB is exempt from liability for failure to perform certain obligations if the failure is due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., government decisions, power outages, teacher illness, or similar events).

When you book a class, buy a course, or sign up for our newsletter, we collect the following:

  • Health information: Only if you voluntarily provide info regarding injuries or pregnancy to adapt the yoga to your needs.

2. How do we use the information?

  • Send relevant information regarding the courses you attend.

  • Send newsletters and marketing (if you have given your consent).

  • Fulfill legal requirements, such as the Swedish Accounting Act.

3. Sharing of data with third parties

We never sell your data to third parties. We use trusted subcontractors to run our business:

  • Stripe (Payments): Your card details are handled directly by Stripe. Priyayoga AB does not have access to your full card details.

  • Mailchimp (Communication): We use Mailchimp to manage our email list. Your email and name are stored securely in their system.

  • Accounting: Purchase data is shared with our accounting consultant/system to comply with Swedish law.

4. Storage and Retention

We save your data only as long as necessary to perform our services or as required by law (e.g., accounting records are saved for 7 years). Newsletter emails are kept until you choose to unsubscribe.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the data we have about you.
